Frédéric Giachino began making wine in the Chartreuse Hills over 20 years ago. Coming from a small 1-hectare parcel of Mondeuse growing in the French alps of Savoie, this high-altitude, cool-climate red offers juicy hints of blackberry, floral aromas, a bit of earthy funk, and a mineral, low-tannin finish. A delicious alternative to Pinot Noir or Gamay, marked by Alpine-influenced notes of violets and fresh herbs.
